Every morning, across the world, the sun rises. It may not be visible due to cloud cover, tall buildings, or simply a person not taking the time to seek the opportunity to see nature at work. The colors may look different in a city, at the beach, or in the country. Nevertheless, the sun’s energy nourishes plants and humans across the land. Plants convert sunlight into food and support the growth of other organisms. Plants help the oxygen in our environment, absorb pollutants, nourish our bodies, and make the world beautiful. The sun benefits humans in numerous ways. Physically, it gives us warmth, builds vitamin D in our bodies, and strengthens our immune system. Studies also link exposure to sunlight to improving mood and mental health. Sunshine encourages us to experience the beauty of nature and often inspires us to exercise or spend time with friends and family. The faithful cycle, a constant positive rhythm of our lives, can be comforting. It is the bright idea of a new day’s possibilities. It reminds us all that we will be fine.
