Many moons ago fifteen humans dreamed of achieving the lofty goal of pursuing terminal degrees from the prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University. Did they have money? No! Did they have time to spare in their already full lives? No! Did they have additional energy? No! There were external and internal forces that discouraged these dreamers from taking a leap of faith, but they said yes to themselves. They said yes to learning, growing, reflecting, and being better. These fifteen humans took the leap as strangers. Their journey has been more than what they ever expected. They grew as individuals and as a community. They worked hard and accomplished so much that their beloved university sent them on an all-expenses paid trip together. Professors Bridges, Bukowski, Denzine, and Becker fought over who could be the solo faculty member to accompany their most beloved cohort. To be continued...
