about this story

I want to spend more time in nature. Nature is where I find my inner peace. I want to hug a thick oak tree with a huge burl that shows how it once healed itself from the inside out. I want to worship each tiny leaf on every plant and spend time with as many flowers as possible. I want to be close to the water during all four seasons. Nature captivates all five senses at once and regulates my nervous system. The inner critic's judgemental chatter is drowned out by the sounds of the birds and the wind. In nature all possibilities and doors are open. As a mother, I want my son to learn about the wisdom that comes from nature.
