A lonely window
Seeing everything but joy
Has been here for centuries

A wild flower
Slowly growing
Never ceases to amaze me

A rainy city
With lights shining
I wonder what it could be hiding

A flowing river
With trees surrounding
Creates peace that’s astounding

A crate of her things
She stopped listening
The birds gave her glee
As she left the one who stung her like a bee
