Learn to be kind and respectful again. He will understand that his greediness and stubbornness have led to him losing the people closest to him. Scrooge will come to the conclusion that money is not everything in life and it will definitely not bring him all the happiness he desires. He will come to terms with his abnormal and horrible behaviour towards others. This will allow him to take responsibility for his actions and apologise to the people he mistreated, allowing him to feel love and raw gratitude for the simpler and smaller things in life again.
