about this story

Social media is a giant space in the internet that takes up the time of peoples lives nowadays. It is some peoples lifestyle, they turn it into a basis. People live off the interactions they get on social media, and treat it like a job. People want to have access to social media all the time, causing them to waste time.

Social media is addictive. It takes the attention of people away from more important things like work, chores, or family. People want to post their lives onto the internet and see what is new on social media. They like the attention it gives them and how people react. Others just want to post for the sake of having to be able to post something.

Social media can separate people. It can leave them looking at social media for hours. People want to disconnect from what happens in life by going to social media and scrolling for hours. They will avoid talking with family members to look at social media.

Social median can be bad for people, but it can also be good if used correctly. Social media can be a place where communities are built and people connect. It can be used to stay in contact with friends and families from long distances. In social media, people can learn and be educated about certain topics.

Social media can be dystopian. Social media can be addictive and separates people. It can make people anti-social, and make people feel the need to access it everyday. But social media can also be a positive place for communities. It can help people stay in contact, and build communities that helps and educates people. Social media is a big world of positive and negative effects to people. How it affects you depends on how you interact with it.
