about this story

With cars being responsible for around one-third of all air pollution in the US, they are the biggest source of pollution in the atmosphere. The smoke that's coming out of this vehicles contain a bunch of pollutants that harm our lung health and can later turn into cancer. The places that are highly affected are highly populated places like cities. These cities include New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Our lungs is one of many issues car pollution is taking affect on. Car pollution is also contaminating trees, fruit trees, and meat we eat. We need trees in order to have oxygen in the atmosphere. Without oxygen we will go through asphyxiation which is when your body doesn't intake enough oxygen. We need both fruit trees and meat in order to fullfill our hunger. Some things we can do to minimize the damage were doing you our ecosystem is walk more. If your destination is less than 15 min away just walk or ride a bike. Another fix is to follow speed limit signs, driving at higher speeds burns more fuel and produce more pollution. We need to protect both out body and ecosystem in order to live happily.
