Tell Me It's Okay - Paramore

Describe what all the images have in common.
They're all rooted in the human experience- things people could do or see on a relatively "normal" day.

Create a short story about the images using the words that you associated with each image.
As I cracked the door, the once-faint sounds of crying I heard earlier began to increase in volume. Peeking my head inside, I finally found my friend trying and failing to get through a card game by himself, burying his head in the crook of his arm as he saw me. I asked if he wanted to go out and find something to do. Even though no response was given, he wiped his nose and began to amble over to the shoe rack as if to silently take me up on the offer. I knew the first destination we had to hit, a sure pick-me-up: his favorite ice cream place. After getting our orders, I suggested continuing our adventure by taking it to-go; there was a scenic overlook just around the corner and walking in to the shop had reminded me just how beautiful of a day it was. As we approached our final destination and began to enjoy our treats, nothing was said but an almost inconspicuous smile snuck out of the corners of his mouth as we basked in the warm glow of the world around us.
