about this story

Introduction (pic 1)
Wherever you live whether it's in a house, hotel, or apartment most people want to wake up by a certain time. The later you stay in bed, the less that you will get done. A few examples are paying bills, going shopping, and cleaning up around the house like vacuuming or organizing. Setting an alarm will help you with having good time management.

It is important to get up on time. People have places to be and things to do. Someone could have an important meeting to attend. If they do not set an alarm, they may miss that important meeting. A meeting that could get them a job.

Later in life, you could end up living on the streets without having a job. Not having a job means that you will not have any money. You will have to do something you don't want to do. You might have to play an instrument to get money. A few songs that someone might play are “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King, “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen, and “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Some people might just ignore you and not give you money. When playing out on the streets, it is possible that you will only get a couple of dollars not allowing you to have enough to eat.

Some argue that humans are meant to live in the elements, their natural habitat. I disagree with that. I think that everyone should be able to have a roof over their head and a warm place to live. I also think that living in the elements, you will not be able to have a good night's sleep, since you would not have something warm and comfy to sleep on.

It is best that people should get up at sunrise. One example of why getting up early is beneficial is that you can have more energy in the mornings. Staying in bed too late will not get anything done. I can relate to this. Most days I stay up late and sleep all day. I get nothing accomplished other than going to class and sometimes doing the dishes. Staying up too late can drain your energy to do things you want to do the next day. The last example why getting up early is beneficial is that it can reduce your stress. You won’t be over thinking on what you have to do in a short amount of time. Also not getting up early can mess up your eating schedule and what you eat. Another thing that can cause stress is when your assignments pile on top of each other.
