My journey as a Doctoral Student began with my goal to enhance and evolve as a leader; a new leaf to grow and develop. A few months into the journey I started to feel the isolation and fear of missing out due to the new demands and student responsibilities. However, the support of my peers, family, and professors propelled me to flourish as an individual and as collective. Now I contribute to my personal and professional engagements with more intention and expanded field of knowledge. I recognize this is a journey and only completed the first leg of the path.
