The opportunity for a new "journey" always begins as you mentally close the story of the previous "journey." As the sun sets, so should your mindset of the previous tasks and challenges to allow for an open mindset to prepare for what the new "journey" has in store. The new journey starts with an "All hands on deck" meeting with the CEO, providing continuety, so that everyone can hear the same message simultaneously. As you listen, you feel the direction of the meeting becomes an assignment of tasks assigned to you, with immediate suspense dates. A brief feeling of confinement and lack of control falls over you as you envision delays in other projects you have scheduled for the week. But you don't sweat...you become energized, organize the tasks and strategize on how to successfully complete, realizing that by Friday, you can enjoy your accomplishments and closure of having completed another unscheduled and unknown week of adventure.
