about this story

Work, family, schedules, chores, pursuing an EDD, we have to escape from time to time. Literally or figuratively we have our "happy" places. One of my favorite places has water and waves. Even more so when you have the scenic view of water crashing into rocks and shore. I could stop and stare at that view 1for hours. Another escape is traveling and exploring. Even if I can not literally go there, I love thinking and dreaming of where I would go, who I will meet, where and I stay and what I will eat. The door reminds me a quaint Air bnd/VRBO I would fine at a discount that is walking distance of the town's/city's best spots. One of these spots would have to be a sushi place. Nothing is better than sitting down and ordering a spicy tuna/salmon roll.

I have a one year old daughter and nothing quite gets me centered more than playing with and hanging out with "little one" That is my favorite nickname for Lyla and nothing brings me more joy. Little one and my wife are my ultimate escape and I love sitting down at the table and eating a nice meal with them.

At the end of each day there is nothing wrong with taking some time to yourself. A rocking chair, a hammock, the couch, your bed, or just laying on the floor. A great way to end the day is taking the time to be alone and let the mind escape to all the fun and exciting places (literally or figuratively) you want to go.
