In the beautiful city of Manila Bay, the city was filled with rubbish, litter, and discarded plastics. The Bay that was once a haven of natural beauty and tranquility was slowly being smothered by trash. The once crystal clear waters were now polluted and full of floating plastics and debris. The air was no longer fresh and clean, the stench of decay was present in the air. The plastic waste problem was not only affecting the Bay but also the community living nearby. The health of the local residents were being affected by the pollution. The local economy was on the decline due to the decrease in tourism but also the marine life and the environment. The once diverse and vibrant marine life including corals, fish, and other creatures were dying and disappearing. The plastic waste was not only covering the surface of the waters but also the sea floor. The plastic waste was affecting the food chain and the balance of the ecosystem.
