about this story

Gus was playing outside one day when he spotted an adorable little green frog. Unfortunately, his cat had also spotted the frog. Gus leaped in front of the cat to stop Fluffy from pouncing on the adorable little amphibian. He scooped up the frog and said, "You're safe little froggy!"

Surprisingly, the frog talked back! In a deep voice, the frog cracked, "Thanks for saving me from that evil cat. For that I will grant you some wishes. Think of anything you would like and I'll make it appear!"

Gus was shocked that that the frog was speaking to him, but he was also a little hungry so he requested some yummy waffles. Then suddenly - poof - the most delicious waffles he'd ever seen appeared in front of him!

After gobbling them down, Gus realized the little green frog was still staring at him. Realizing this frog was magical... he decided to see what else the frog could do. So he wished for an old classic car to appear - and again - poof! The car of Gus's imagination appeared right before him.

Realizing this frog could make anything happen - he requested a giant house - suddenly his tiny 2 bedroom house he shared with his family turned into a giant mansion.

Meanwhile, as Gus is thinking about all the things he can got from this frog... Fluffy the cat, sees his opportunity to catch that tasty looking frog again. Gus is so preoccupied with his wishes that he doesn't even care about the frog. The frog hollers, "Slow down!" Suddenly - Fluffy the cat became Fluffy the turtle!
