about this story

Butterball was a playful dog who loved his family. One day, while outside, he spotted a squirrel and dashed off, ignoring his humans’ calls. The chase led him five miles away to a beach, where he chewed on rubber ducks and searched for the elusive squirrel.

As night fell, Butterball, tired and lost, found a cozy spot under a tree to sleep. The next morning, he approached a kind man who checked his collar and called his humans. Soon, Butterball was reunited with his joyful family, realizing nothing beats being home.
