about this story

Gaston's flood was so destructive that all previous human knowledge was wiped (that's why the first photo, which actually has the summation of human knowledge in it is broken) and left all but the last building of University College, Vinkham Teale University College Center standing. The scholars of VTUCC studied tirelessly to reverse the flooding and "deflood" the area. However, in their zeal to recover literally all of human knowledge that was destroyed in the flood they deflooded the entire world !! And removed all the water !! Which is why the road to the future is very bright but also extremely dry.
