about this story

Introduction (Pic 1):
Advertising has always been rooted in storytelling, dating back to ancient civilizations. Sailers in the sea or merchants on trade routes used stories to promote their goods. Today, advertising still uses the same techniques, creating stories to engage consumers.

(Pic 2):
Each society has different brands they associate with "trendy" due to the different advertising every country plays. When a brand trends its message not only can affect fashion trends but societal trends, such as using plastic straws or thrifting instead of fast fashion. So, Advertisement affects trends in fashion and ultimately society.

(Pic 3):
Advertisements spread information and technology brands that promote safety. For instance, the logo on an ADT sign on the front of a house can inform and influence more buyers to help add more safety features to homes.

(Pic 4):
Advertising also spreads information about global concerns. Advertising informs viewers on issues about new innovations, services, or environmental issues. The "Save the Turtles" advertisements exemplify the significance of advertising on global issues.

Conclusion (Pic 5):
Advertising doesn't have the best rep because of the amount people have to see them. However, advertising is storytelling and humans have been storytelling for centuries, and without advertising, stories couldnt be told as easily, and brand awareness would plummet. So, in conclusion, advertising tells stories and has affected trends and promoted safety and global problems and should be seen as beneficial.
