Morning suns begin to rise
Golden light in open skies
Wheels in motion, smooth and free
Highway stretches, calling me
Another work day, the clock strikes nine
Sitting in a circle, everything feels fine
Notes and coffee, ideas fly,
Voices mingle under the office sky.
On buses they gathered, excitement in the air
To explore a new place, and adventure to share
A school trip planned, a day of cheer,
While I sit here, my worry is near.
I sit at work, the clock ticks slow,
Worries of rent begin to grow,
The bills stack high, a mountain tall,
Each sleepless night, I fear the fall.
Bills piled high, whispers of fear,
Yet in the struggle, hope stays near.
One path to thread, though steep and long
Finding strength in the everyday song.
