Today marks the first year since mom passed.
I can still hear her saying, "Don't forget to go to school, and study hard. What do you want to eat tonight?". sometimes, I felt like my world had stopped as if I've been stuck in time. I’ve graduated and found a stable job, but I still feel like there’s something I’ve forgotten. Every time I pass the bustling city, passing the wig store as we take the route home, I feel as if there's something I’m missing. I don’t know what it is, dad is healthy he’s been doing a lot better, my brother is now a high school student and recently, he said he wanted to try being the class representative. Sometimes when I go jogging, I walk slightly to the left because my mom was always on my right. I walk, looking at the road, as if I'm walking with my mom again. The old ropes on the fence, the trees that grew along our neighborhood, these memories are still fresh in my mind. The world keeps turning, even though I feel like the world has been held to a hold, it's not the world that has stopped—it's me. When I walk on the way home, I think of the little details that I only began to notice after my mom left. When I went home today, I open the door to my and tell myself, “Tonight, I’ll cook. What should we eat?”

今天是我媽離開這個世界的第一年。
我還能聽到她說：“別忘記去學校，好好學習。今晚要吃什麼？”有時候，我覺得我的世界停了下來,就像我被困在時間裡一樣。我已經畢業，找到了一份穩定的工作，可是我還是覺得有些東西好像忘了。每次經過繁忙的城市，經過我們回家的路上的假髮店，我總覺得好像少了什麼。我不知道是什麼。爸爸很健康，最近他變得好多了。我的弟弟現在是高中生，最近他說他想試試當班代。當我去跑步時，有時候我走得稍微偏左一些，因為我媽總是在我右邊。我走著看著路，好像又回到了和我媽一起走的時光。電線上的舊繩子，長在我們社區旁的樹木，這些記憶依然如此清晰。世界依然在轉動，雖然我覺得我的世界好像停住了，但停下來的不是這個世界，而是我自己。當我走在回家的路上，我會想起那些只有我媽離開後才會注意到的小細節。今天回到家，我打開門，對自己說：“今晚我要煮飯，要吃什麼？”
