艾瑞克是一位工作繁忙的程式設計師，每天埋首於電腦螢幕前，喝著咖啡，解決無數的程式問題。然而，他的內心卻充滿了困惑與迷失。他開始思考人生，真的只是為了寫程式、賺錢，然後重複這樣的日子嗎?某天，他走在路上看到了教堂，這是一座傳說中能讓人找到內心平靜的地方。他決定暫時放下手上的工作，去那裡尋找答案。當他來到教堂門口時，卻發現教堂內部正在維修，無法進入。他只好坐在附近的紅磚地上思考。他看到有人坐在路邊，低頭沉思，這讓他開始思考，或許答案不在某個特定的地方，而是在過程之中。他聽到不遠處傳來熱鬧的聲音。他跟隨著聲音走去，來到一個熱鬧的市集，他驚訝地發現，這些人並不在意現代社會的壓力，而是全心投入於自己的熱情之中，這才使他領悟到，自己一直以來都在尋找一個確切的答案，但人生並沒有唯一的解答，所以不該一直活在自己的世界裡，該多去探索學習新的事物: )
