In a beautiful old castle with pretty stone walls and fancy windows, people found a smiling little boy. He wore a bright blue shirt and loved to play in the sunny hallways.
When castle workers saw him, he would wave happily and laugh. Every day, he played in the green garden where flowers grew all around him. The kind gardener gave him cookies and said the boy made the whole castle feel alive again. His best friend was a cute spotted cat with orange, white, and black fur that purred loudly whenever the boy petted it.
The boy told everyone his name was Max, and he showed them the three special windows where his new bedroom was. The castle owner was so happy to have Max and his cat living there that he threw a big party with cake and games. All the castle people loved Max's stories and his funny games. The castle, once quiet and empty, was now filled with laughter and joy, and everyone agreed having Max there made it the happiest place in the world.
