about this story
No one really knew who he was or where he came from. He first appeared at the steps of the old courthouse, silent and still, like a statue out of time. The only clues were an old red car he always parked in the same alley and the shadows he disappeared into beneath the overpass. People whispered that he was a ghost from a different era, a man lost between roads. Eventually, he vanished just as mysteriously as he arrived, leaving only fading tire marks and a path toward the endless pier, swallowed by the fog of unanswered questions.
