about this story
The adventure began as the child saw the clover emblem on the gray-green wall and remembered what Grandfather had said: "Leprechauns are Irish and hide their treasure at the end of the rainbow." As the emblem was Irish, the child was inspired to go find said rainbow and treasure.
With the trusty family dog, Oscar, at his side they followed a path lined by oak trees, leaves shining under the blue sky. The path led them down to a creek, where Oscar happily raced into the water and mud. The child was too happy to see Oscar at play, his underbelly and chin muddy, to think what his mother would think of this!
"Cut!" the director shouted, hands raised in signal of pause. "Where's the trainer? The dog was not supposed to go straight into the creek!"
The cameraman continued to focus on "Oscar," who waited in the mud.
