about this story
One day, a blue soccer ball rolled onto the playground. It was a hot day and a group of kids wondered where the ball came from. After deciding that they could not know, they decided to play with the ball. The parents, concerned about the unknown ball, told the children not to monkey around and to be careful. The kids played on and did not remember the caution the adults had given them; they basically had the memory of a goldfish. So, they played on and had great fun. The scene was not unlike a dog frolicking and rolling around in the snow. It was pure joy. But, as the sun set, everyone had to go home to their apartment number 13. Their day and their luck had run out...
