You’re dreaming—walking slowly past a silent church at night. The air is thick, and your footsteps sound too loud, like something is listening.
Your vision begins to smear and warp. The church windows stretch and bend, shadows leaking out as if the building itself is melting into the dark.
A figure stands at the entrance—a nun, perfectly still. Her face is hidden, but you feel her eyes on you. Then her head tilts… too far.
She glides toward you without moving her feet. Your body won’t respond. As she lifts her hand, it’s not skin—it’s black, cracked, and spreading.
You jolt awake in your bed, heart pounding.
Your room is normal. Quiet. Safe.
Until you raise your hands—
and they’re still black.
