about this story

The tiny turtle loved her home, but she wanted to see the world. She took off, and early in her journey, she came upon a mountain she did not want to climb. Instead of crossing the mountain, she took the long way around it and came upon a beautiful home with a lake behind it. She enjoyed this beautiful lake and took some time to relax and make friends with the butterflies. Although she loved this new home, her journey wasn't over yet. There was so much more to see in this world. After a few days, she came upon an old town with a magnificent cathedral. She decided to stay a while. But once again, she grew restless and wanted to see what was beyond the cobblestone floors she had come to love. After saying goodbye to her friends, she crawled through the iron gate in search of her next destination.
