Pic 1 (Introduction): There is too much construction happening at once when it begins to interfere with people’s everyday lives. Communities need safe, accessible spaces, and overlapping projects can make it difficult to travel, work, and relax. Construction should therefore be scheduled around the needs of the people who live there. Pic 2: Construction can limit access to buildings and familiar routes. For example, a closed entrance may force someone to take a longer route to reach work or class. Because people depend on reliable access, having several closures at once creates an unnecessary burden. Pic 3: Multiple construction projects can also leave fewer public spaces available for everyday use. Safety barriers are necessary, but their combined impact matters. If residents face restrictions wherever they go, planners should reduce the number of projects happening simultaneously. Pic 4 (Counterargument): Some people argue that construction is necessary because it improves infrastructure and creates better community spaces. Those benefits matter, but residents still need places to gather and relax while improvements are underway. Spreading projects out would allow progress while preserving access to those spaces. Pic 5 (Conclusion): Community leaders should listen to residents and coordinate construction schedules more carefully. Since overlapping projects can restrict access, disrupt routines, and reduce usable public space, limiting simultaneous construction is a reasonable solution. Development should improve daily life, and its planning should reflect that goal.
