What makes man, man? Is it birth? is it voice? is it image? Shapes form us, yet shapes become inconsequential in the face of artificial creation.
Nature and the norm fit together easily, like pieces in a puzzle, yet nature cannot be replicated and be deemed the norm, for the very essence of nature is individuality, a blank canvas in the beginning, based not on the present or future but on a mixture of the past.
And yet, individuality and the essence of being unique can draw away from nature, despite nature's choice to be of the sublime and different.
And so we've sunk into a trend. We cannot be identical or artificial for fear of being unnatural, but pure nature in itself is unnatural. And, human as we are, we eventually come to the same conclusion. Conclusions themselves are rarely conclusive, and so there will always be discrepencies and abnormalities. In the end we're all lined up in a row.
It takes a special kind of mind to recognize where we are, and where we have come from. Sometimes, that mind is not of the expected sort. The worries and fears of adulthood remove all sense of reflection, and blank canvasses are required for real insight to occur. We can go on about DNA forever more, but in the end we must accept the simplicity, complexity and overall contradiction of nature in order to understand it.
