There they were chained up against the wall. The girl had a plan though. She had a bobby pin in her hand and she was ready. As the guard for the night walked down to the other end of the hall she began to work at the locks for the chains that chained her to the wall. She was silent she knew that if she made a sound she would surely pay for it. At last she broke free of the chains that had held her for so long. She went to the cell door and picked the lock on that too. The guard was still at the other end of the hall with his back turned, and she ran for it. She ran to the file room she knew was just around the corner. She ran to the file cabinet and found her name, Lala McKendry, and took the file. She ran down the hallway to the tunnel that was hidden and known only by her. She crawled through the tunnel and it felt like hours at last she came out the other end. Sunrise. It felt so nice to see the sun. She hadn't seen it for three excruciatingly long years. She went to the coffee shop she used to go to before she was taken. There she sat down in the same old booth, and ordered the same old coffee. It felt good for her to finally have her life back.
