about this story

Here I was all alone. No home, no parents, no wife, but I had a dream, and my dream was to make it to the big city. It was a snowy day early one winter when I set out from my home in the country. I knew the turn off I needed, so I walked. Boy, did I walk. I walked until my feet froze and my toes turned into icicles, but after a lot of walking I came to my exit. The legendary exit 176. Famous throughout the land. Known by every free born dog in the UK. I had reached the big city, a place where buses had two floors and telephone boxes were red. What a place! So I made my way to the only food joint to go for an under-cooked steak, the hard rock cafe. And that is where I fell in love. She was slinking about under the tables, and she was everything I had ever wanted in a woman, sleek, furry, with odd coloured eyes. I was in love. Things were starting to work out for me at last. Things would be okay.
