My morning began like any other-with a call from the boss requesting fresh fruit for breakfast and Starbucks. Luckily, I was able to find a streetside vendor with a special on fresh-picked strawberries. After a quick run through the Starbucks drive through, I dropped off my boss's breakfast and was on my way to pick up his dry cleaning. I was feeling an exra hint of luck since I hadn't had to wait in line all day, but just as I dropped off his dry cleaning at his home, I was cornered by his elderly mother in the kitchen. As she relived her past 35 years, I choked down her egg pie and daydreamed of where I'd really like to be as soon as I win the lottery-hiking in the hills of Colorado. Two hours and three cups of coffee later, I was back home walking through my gate. Thank goodness for the Friends marathon on tonight!
