It was a sweltering afternoon.The sun beat down on me like a thousand needles.I was returning home from work.My boss dismissed everyone early today.Soon,I was walking home.I forgot to bring my wallet to pay for the bus.It was a long walk.In no time,it was evening.I was exhausted.The thought of going to the nearest restaurant made me drool.I decided to walk to the restaurant.
Suddenly, a burly man with a horrendous looking face walked up to me.I froze.He was clutching a dagger."Your money or your life,"he said in a rough voice.He took a step forward and......tripped over a little toy car on the ground.Without a moment's hesitation,I pinned him to the ground and dialled for the police.
Within seconds,the wails of the police siren could be heard.The robber was handcuffed and sent to the nearest police station for investigation.I heaved an immense sigh of relief and continued my walk to the restaurant.What an interesting experience!
