There is a buffet of information to be found on the internet. When I am searching for new instruction and assessment techniques I used to feel as though I were aimlessly wandering through more ideas than I could ever use or even critique in time for class the next day. Then, as though meant to be, a wise man reached out his hand to mine and reminded me that it is not information overload, but rather, filter failure. I took this quote to heart and set out once again on the information highway in search of effective teaching techniques. My journey was more focused this time and I realized that there are others that have already filtered and provided incredible resources for the rest of us to use! If I could, I would buy all of these wonderful and selfless people a meal and a drink at their local bar. So, I continue on this journey and reflect on the changes I am making. When I feel as though something hasn't gone my way I will not be blue - I will continue to find inspiration in others out there on this same journey.
