about this story

This desk is my home, I spend 5 days a week here, learning, listening, at times doing neither of those. But still this is my home. See I learn about what is wrong in the world but I can't do anything about it, I am just one person. I learn about what Jesus asks me to do, I study it, I learn it in Greek, I discuss it with others, but if someone asks me to leave this chair, this comfort.. I can't. I'm not the only one, look at this city, people just work so they can have fun, then they work so they can retire and do nothing. Some people spend their lives at slot machines, some people spend their lives at work, but it seems like all we do is sit down. We sit and we let the world go by us. That is life. But then again is it? I imagine myself dying, saying I wish I had done more, words I have already said in my life. So even if I stand alone, I have to do more, Jesus lived urgently and that is what I must do.
