We gathered behind the shield as the maelstrom of earth and plant matter crashed down above us.

They were coming.

The forest was silent, like the ominous breeze before a storm. The birds, frogs and insects around us stood still, frozen in time like a depraved wax museum.

They were coming.

Unbeknownst to us and our feline brethren, the kings of 160 million years had managed to creep like fog towards the shield. It was then when I saw her-- a marvel of biological engineering, ninety five million years in the making. "What do you want?" I yelled. "Money? Secrecy?"

"No," the beast roared, the ground trembling as she spoke. "I want to join the Social Media Exco."

"That can be arranged," I said. "That can be arranged."
