A loud boom filled the air, I woke from my sleep, stunned with hands sweating. The old dog next door barked at the almighty sound from the sky above. I could hear the trees branches being whipped around in the wind. A baby's desperate cry could be heard all down the street. There was one last bang as the pile of woood toppled to the ground, This was it, the storm was here.
