Walking along, it was finally encountered. The old, rustic stone stood out among the trees, imposing against the dimming sky. Grandfather had said it used to be a church, but the congregation fell apart after grandmother ran off with the Trix rabbit and could no longer make her renowned croissants. Memories playing like records created an eerier feel to the woods. Brought back were the echoes of the church bells that once rang. Walking further up the path, finding a bridge laid over icy waters. I found my companion and continued my way, over the bridge, over the memories flowing like the water beneath me. Moving across towards the next best things.
