We didn't want to go into the woods, but we were running out of food. The candles were running low--and morale. So we sharpened our blades and strode out, feigning courage for the sake of those we left behind.

They were hungry. They never should have had to grow up like this.

In the shadows, with only candles--and too few.

Out, out.
