about this story
We start with my prize. After the magnificent luck my wife and I had, we both chose our dream day and then we both chose a dream day together...
It all started with the lucky frog landing on my thumb that morning. Realizing an omen of fortune I immediately ran to the casino (we live in Vegas) with my wife in tow and put everything I had on 23.
With the winnings we had our respective prizes and joint venture to choose. I chose seats at the World Series. The Dodgers won! My wife and I witnessed history being made as the boys in blue swept the Orioles. My wife chose her day in Tahiti, and after an endless flight we strolled on the turbulent shore. Our joint venture was a day of skiing and a night by the fireside in Aspen. All of this thanks to a lucky little frog, my ability to read omens, and that red 23. What a lucky day.
