about this story

It is safe to say that July 12 was one the best summer days a person could ask for. I was at a beach off the pacific ocean and sweat was pouring down my forehead as I plugged away on building a small pretend town made out of sand castles. It had to of been 30 above. Once I finished constructing this masterpiece I spent all morning working on, I went for a quick swim then proceeded to begin my long walk home.

It was an enjoyable 8 kilometer stroll; that said, the best part was the 3 kilometers through the majestic forest. Like always the forest was full of surprises. I was surrounded by all sorts wildlife, flowers, and trees that have been standing for hundreds of years and to top things off I found some fresh apples to bring home. By the time I got back to my small hometown it was mid afternoon and I was exhausted. I marched up my apartments cool looking staircase and proceeded through my even cooler looking front door. I quickly grabbed a glass of water then fell asleep on the couch. What a day.
