It was a dark and stormy night. I was on my boat and the waves were fierce. I could see a lone figure off by the shore. He was standing on the cliff's edge, watching me struggle.
Back in the city my father was crossing main street when suddenly a bus hit him.It was in Italy in a dilapidated and rough neighborhood where he died--the bus driver didn't stop; he just kept trucking along.
The world kept on turning, completely uncaring.
I sat on the shore, sobbing, as the fog rolled in to hide my tears.
