about this story
It all started in a book store, lost and forgotten, on 36th Street. She found a story that spoke to her, saying "Take me away from this place". Running down the road towards her home, she could not wait to dive into this new and thrilling tale. The book took her places she had never known, to the sweet salty air of Fiji and all the way back to her one bedroom apartment in SoHo. With the turn of the final page, the girl had a yearning to travel to this far and distant land. Impulsively, she took the next flight out to Fiji: and she never looked back.
