Five Card Story: Spelling Bee

Although I´m proud of my flat bed truck, I don´t usually drive it to school every day. That weekend , however, I had to visit a pupil at home in a por part of town and I wanted to feel that I could drive awya quickly if I needed to. Amanda´s parents had given me directions to their house and as I drew close to the Street I could see that they had kindly drawn an arrow on the side of their house to show me where I was able to park.
When I entered the house Amanda was nervously waiting for me. She knew that this was her chance to show me that she was good enough to enter the Texas national Spelling Bee competition. I didn´t keep her in a state of nervousness and we started straight away. Encyclopedia, I say.... she spells it perfectly and this is the case with the rest of the ten words that she had studied.
Amanda went on to take part in the national competition and won first prize....a years supply of pork!
