One late evening in spring I was sitting on the shore of a lake and was watching a beautiful bird. A little boy suddenly started to cry on the other side of the lake. My sweet little dog, whose head was lying in my lap, raised her ears. Crying children always scared her. To be all alone at the lake was scary to me. So I took my dog and walked to the exit of the next train station. Unfortunately the next train was only in 30 minutes but luckily I had many books with me to read.
