Five Card Story: A Seashore Adventure

about this story
I was walking down the street of the seaside town. Many little shops were nestled close together and passerby ambled in and out. As I shambled down the boardwalk closer to the waves, a gull feather floated down in front of me and came to rest in the sand. I picked it up and felt its smooth texture through my fingers. Now I could hear the subtle rush of the waves against the land, coming and going at their leisure. I sat down for a moment to enjoy the sun sparkling off the waves' caps. A few minutes later, a beautiful lab walked by with its owner. It looked determined to find a hidden treasure. Its nose to the ground, it meandered over the beach and suddenly stopped and began to dig. Sand flew everywhere! Soon, a glass bottle was unearthed. What a unique and nautical item! As I walked home, I smiled at the beauty of this little shanty town.
