My dad decided to take me for a drive in our old beat up beetle bug car. We live in Washington DC and were going to tour the town. Before we left my dad has to take a picture because he always needs too. I'm 16 and me and my boyfriend are about to run away and my dad doesn't know. This may be the last time I see my dad for awhile or maybe even forever so I want to make this day one to remember. Were off the car is making a loud rattling noise it is scary what if it broke down right here right now. Are first stop a flee market all the people their stair at us with appalled faces. Last time we were here my dad was drunk and ruined everything at the flee market. My father is an alcoholic who beats my mother that is part of the reason why I'm leaving because I'm sick of witnessing the unthinkable. We buy some food and then rush back to the car. We go to the town hall were my dad has to pay his fees for running over some lady who past away from it he is on bail but her will be arrested soon for man slaughter because he was drinking under the influence. He didn't know the old lady had been his mother. It was scary because I was in the car. That is why the beetle is so crapped up some what. My mom is coming with my boyfriend and I and we are going to go to Paris. We arrive back to the house were my mother is my dad goes up stairs and falls asleep. Me and my mother are about to leave him and we pick up our bags and just go in a red convertible that my boyfriend picked us up in. I'm scared that my dad will find us and kill all of us. My boyfriends dad was the same way so his mom was in the car also. I turn around and their my dad is in his truck...
