about this story
It was an especially cold day in the winter. Jacqueline was drinking coffee out of her favorite mug while sitting on the bench of her garden. She felt something strange though as if someone was watching her. All her family was over for Christmas so maybe one of them was watching her. Her husband was playing with one of her daughters, Annabelle. Her other daughter was getting her face painted by her Aunt Mary. Everyone seemed to be having fun and doing their own thing. Granny Sally looked at Jacqueline and pointed to something behind her. Jacqueline turned around and found one of the kids form the orphanage watching the happy family. Jacqueline felt sad for the little boy who had no home or family.
