Bobby was a lonesome soul who enjoyed being on his laptop for most of the day. He wrote assignments, played games, skyped with his mother, and even enjoyed pinning items on Pinterest. Bobby enjoyed sitting in his claimed spot in the campus library in the early hours of the morning. It was finals week and he knew many students were on the prowl to find the very best spot to spend their day preparing for their finals. Bobby enters the library at 4:30 a.m. only to find his perfect spot had been taken by a group of ruthless college students. "How could this be?" Bobby asked himself. "Sorry, buddy! We need this space, you can find a space over there," a man pointed across the way. Disappointed, Bobby dragged his feet across the way to stumble upon studious Karen. Bobby stared at her in amazement, not realizing what had been waiting for him all of the days he sat in his favorite spot. He sat down next to her, opened up his computer and began to Pinterest. Thinking about what he was doing, he immediately changed gears and began studying for his finals. "I want to ask her out, but where?" Bobby thought. He turned his head to the right to catch the football countdown staring him right in the face. "That's it!" Bobby thought. Nervously turning toward Karen, Bobby stutters to ask her to the Hawkeyes Football Game. "I-I-It's only like s-s-six more days until the big game. W-would you like to go to this epic game with me?" Karen looked up from her screen and said, "No, I don't like football." Surprised by Karen's bluntness, Bobby feels quite embarrassed with no way out of the library. The windows letting in the rays of sunshine have been sealed off by brick, cutting off the light at the end of the tunnel. Bad news for Bobby.
