Five Card Story: Adventure Time

One day after my last class at Bellingham Technical College, I had a lot on my mind from working two jobs and going to school. So I walked off campus and down the road I saw some woods so I went onto an adventure. So I went up to the patch of tree without leaves and the bark was dark brown and I never been in there or even I don’t know what’s behind those woods. So I started my adventure into the woods and it was cold and misty out. And I walked about ¾ of a mile and I saw a some lake and the sun was shining put over the clear water and I looked out more and I saw a shadow over the perfect water and so I looks up and it was this big black with orange strips on its side, I never seen a bird like this before so I tried to take a picture of it with my phone but it was too far and I could not get a good clear picture. But I saw it fly over to the left of me and I saw more of them in the distance and I walked over and I saw a rocks and it said “Foxhaven Farm”. Around the farm was this old fence and the wood was starting to rot away like some of the died trees that have fallen on to the mossy cold ground. I started to walk around the fence and around the corner of the farm on the back side was this small pond. The water was dirty and u barely can see two little fish in the water. I hear people talking and air planes turning on and I look back I saw a black one take off and so I walked over there and I saw one more airplane and the guy was outside and he was inspecting his airplane and it was white with a bright orange strip on the side of it. I went to ask him about it and where he was going. He said he was going on a joyride and I ask if I can come, he said yes and told me the to do’s and not the not to do’s. We took off and we have lots of from so I ask if he can take me home and he said that he is happy to do so.
I’m back to the college now and I went to woods coffee to do my homework after my trip into the woods. Back to my daily job. That was a much needed walk to clear my mind.
