Highways, early mornings and railways
That was all Greg knew
He knew he amounted to more in this world
He knew that he wasn’t meant to feel like a big ball of nothing
Yet all these highways and railways gave him
Was the sense of being small
But Greg knew, he was meant to shine like the sun
And warm people’s insides like hot chocolate on a cold snowy day
Every night when Greg was leaving work
While the sun set in front of the hundreds of cars before him
He dreamed of traveling and bringing smiles to people’s faces all over the world
After weeks and weeks of torturous thoughts though
Greg found someone who made him into everything he had ever dreamed of being.
